The Application Process begins in October for the following school year.
Initial inquiry
Parents of prospective students are encouraged to schedule a tour of the school to learn about The Village School’s philosophy, approach, and structure. You can schedule a tour with our Admissions Director by submitting a tour request
Application
October
After your visit, you may submit an online application (with a non-refundable application fee of $60.00). Once your application has been processed, an interview will be scheduled between the parent, child, and the School in order to determine if The Village School provides an appropriate match for your child.
For Kindergarten age and above, an in class day visit and an evaluation of student records are part of the interview process used to determine appropriateness of placement.
Registration
January
Registration for incumbent families occurs before it is open to the public. This occurs in the month of January for the following school year. This phase in the enrollment process determines the number of available positions for new students. New student acceptances and registrations commence subsequent to incumbent enrollment.
Important Dates
- Toddlers (18 to 36 months): Must be 18 months by August 30
- Primary & Kindergarten:
(PRIMARY): Must be 3 years old by September 30
(KINDERGARTEN): Must be 5 years old by September 30 - Lower Elementary: Must be 6 years old by September 30
