Accreditation
The Village School, founded in 1977, is an academically challenging Montessori school in Waldwick, NJ with program levels from Toddlers (18 months old) to Middle School. We are one of two Pre-K-8 schools in NJ that hold triple accreditation from The American Montessori Society (AMS), The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and The New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS).
The rigorous standards set by all three accrediting organizations demonstrate our commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement. We strive to empower every student to be an independent, self-directed, self-motivated learner and a happy contributing member of our community. We recognize that each child is unique with individual talents, interests and abilities.
