What is the Trike-A-Thon?
The Trike -A-Thon is an outdoor active fundraising event for students to participate in to benefit the school gardening program. Participation in this event will allow this amazing benefit to the curriculum to continue and grow! Parents are encouraged to help their child ask family and friends (or ask for their child, according to age) to sponsor them with a flat donation.
Who Will Be Participating?
Toddler, Primary, Kindergarten and Lower Elementary students are invited to participate in the “ride” portion of the Trike-a-Thon. Children are invited to bring a “wheeled” toy- preferably a tricycle or bicycle (push toys are ok for toddlers), decorated to a spring or gardening theme! Please be sure your bicycle/tricycle is labeled with your child’s name. Helmets are REQUIRED and should also be labeled. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the event.
Upper Elementary students will be asked to help run the refreshment stands and Middle School students will be asked to help be race marshals and help with event organizing. All are invited to attend and cheer on our little riders!
