Welcome back everyone!
We can’t believe 2014 is here already and we are nearly halfway through the school year. In the last few days of 2013 there was a lot of fun to be had in and around the school.
The annual Holiday Concert was held on December 18th and featured performances by the two Village School chorus groups and the new chamber orchestra, both directed by resident Music teacher Mark Adamy. They sang and played songs from around the world and throughout the ages, ending with a very entertaining performance of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
Following our first snow day of the season, there were also ample opportunities for playing in the white stuff on the grounds of our school. Students from Primary and Elementary had a blast whizzing over the snow on sleds or just playing in the snow with their friends.
Please enjoy the following slideshow of the last few school days of 2013!
