THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED – THERE WILL BE AN ANNOUNCEMENT WHEN THE NEW DATE IS SCHEDULED.
The Village School
Sunday, January 24, 2016
10:00 – 11:30 am
Do you feel like you were just becoming confident in your parenting skills when suddenly your baby becomes a Toddler leaving you to question your knowledge all over again?
The Toddler stage is a fascinating period of your child’s development. At this age the need to explore new interests, satisfy curiosities, and develop independence increases rapidly and sometimes we as parents feel like we can’t keep up.
You may be thinking to yourself:
- Is this normal behavior?
- Is my toddler developmentally on target?
- What can I do to encourage my toddler’s independence?
- Should I be giving my toddler more freedom to explore?
- How can I avoid getting into power struggles with my toddler while still setting limits?
Join us at The Village School on Sunday January 24th from 10:00 to 11:30am. Marilyn Larkin, Founder and Director of The Village School, Chiara Biggs and Kelly Drummond, Toddler teachers, will share insight into this exciting time in your child’s life.
Please come with your questions, stories, and favorite anecdotes as we explore the unique nature of this wonderful age.
The Village school is a well-respected, tri-accredited Montessori school that fosters the child’s love of learning while nurturing the “whole” child’s emotional, mental, social, and physical development.
Light refreshments and coffee will be served. Please RSVP by Thursday January 21st and feel free to bring a friend.
