The Village School believes that ethnic, racial, and religious diversity create the opportunity for understanding and cooperation among all people. We seek to build a strong foundation of tolerance, recognizing each human being's uniqueness. In concordance with this policy, the school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, or national origin in regard to admission, programs, scholarships, and employment.

The School provides scholarships for families who may need financial assistance, and strives to maintain a balance of diversity in its population.

The School is also committed to accepting children with a wide range of needs in order to maintain a balanced and diverse student body. We accept children with special needs based on the following criteria:

  • The needs of the child
  • The ability and training of the staff
  • The composition of the class
  • The appropriateness of the environment for the needs of the student.

Observations of classes by parents prior to submitting an application are encouraged. All prospective students are interviewed by the staff as part of the application process.
